What cookies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser for a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can support essential functions, remember preferences or enable optional measurement and advertising. Their purpose determines the applicable notice and consent requirements.
What the site code uses
The editorial pages and scenario composer do not set cookies, use local storage or use session storage. They do not include analytics tags, advertising pixels, embedded social widgets or externally hosted fonts. Navigation and scroll reveals operate without persistent storage.
Infrastructure or a separately provided preference interface may have its own strictly necessary behaviour. Where an optional service is offered, its purpose, provider and applicable storage duration should be disclosed before activation, and any legally required consent must be obtained. This page does not authorise undisclosed tracking.
Scenario composer behaviour
| Action | What happens | Persistent effect |
|---|---|---|
| Typing | Updates text in the current page | No storage by the tool |
| Copy | Requests access to write the outline to your clipboard | Clipboard remains under device control |
| Download .txt | Creates a local text file from the preview | A file may remain in your downloads |
| Open an email link | Opens your configured mail application | No message is sent automatically |
Your browser may independently restore form entries, retain browsing history or back up files. Those behaviours are controlled through your browser, operating system and account settings, not by the composer.
Managing your choices
Browser settings let you inspect and remove site cookies or storage and block future storage. Clearing site data does not delete downloaded files or necessarily clear your clipboard. Manage those separately on your device. Blocking storage does not prevent the supplied composer from generating a preview, though clipboard access can be restricted independently.
If an optional-service preference interface is available on the deployed website, use it to review or withdraw optional consent. Essential service functions may remain active where permitted by law. Declining optional storage should not prevent access to the editorial reference.
Questions and changes
For questions, contact [email protected]. The website operator is Rankmosaicstarada Research Ltd, 31 Mount Street Upper, Dublin 2, D02 KX44, Ireland, company no. 769532. Further information about correspondence, technical records and your rights is in our privacy notice.
We will update this information if the site’s storage practices change. Optional technologies should not be introduced merely because this page describes how such technologies work.
